Purple Onion Design Stamps - Warmest Wishes Christmas Card

My card today uses one of Stacey Yacula's new stamps for Purple Onion Designs.

For the background, I used white textured cardstock, stamped a few snowflakes on with Versamark ink, heat embossed them with clear embossing powder, then I blended some Panpastels over the top.

I used Copics to colour the house, and cut out an extra layer house layer, stuck on with foam pads.
I added some Stickles for the sparkle.

You can see the embossed snowflakes a bit better in this picture.
I used this stamp set for the sentiment, also from Purple Onion Designs.

Reverse Confetti Bird Cards

A quick post today, to share a couple of cards I made a while back with some products from Reverse Confetti - the Big Stripes Tags Confetti Cuts, and The Tweet Life stamp and die set. The sentiment stamp is from Paper Smooches, and the flower punches are from Stampin' Up. I used Nuvo Crystal Drops for the flower centres, and black Enamel Accents for the bird eyes. For the bird, I fussy cut the patterned paper. I got the lovely woodgrain cardstock from Payperbox . I met the owner of the company earlier this year at the Stitches show at the NEC (in the UK), and he's the loveliest guy! His paper is really good value and really good quality. I made a second card, with similar products, using the Brushstrokes Birthday Greetings Dienamics die for the 'happy', which I coated with Versamark ink and Melt Art Ultra Thick Embossing Enamel. The 'birthday' was from Reverse Confetti's Whole Lotta Happy stamp set, and the stitched frame was cut with Marianne Design Craftab...

Sizzix Animal Portraits Part 2 - Rabbit Oval Flip-its Hello Card

This is the second card which I made in this set...  I used the Flip-its Scallop Oval Card die set , along with the rabbit, this time, from Sizzix's 'Animal Portraits' Thinlits die set. I used loads of foam pads for dimension, hand cut the bunting flags, and used Reverse Confetti's 'Hello' die. The background papers were old ones from my stash, and  the stripey rabbit paper was from a My Favorite Things 6x6 pad. I just enjoyed making these cards so much!! Some of products used:

Tim Holtz Butterfly Frenzy Sizzix Card in a Box

I have a new favourite die! - the Card in a Box from Sizzix  - it's really quick to put together, and includes the layer pieces, and inner divider pieces too (plus clouds, banner and windmills!) For this version, I added floral papers from First Edition's Floral Pavilion pad, then on one of the flaps I added a Spellbinders frame die, and layered it with banners from the new Sizzix Alphabet Banners set. To decorate the box, I added a glitter card '40' (cut with a Stampin' Up Sizzix Alphabet die set), which I glued to acetate, and attached to one of the inner dividers with tape runner. I used Altenew 'Vintage Roses' stamps, hand cut them out, and attached them on acetate strips too. Finally, I also added the Tim Holtz butterflies on acetate strips. This picture shows the inner dividers better. It's actually quite a simple card, but I think it looks effective. Product Links:
